cuban chicken sandwich

last night i had an extremely delicious and super simple meal that tasted like a million bucks. its cheap, and super yummy. okay, so all you need is chicken breast, the one of your choice and some form of adobation. i used chimmi churri sauce because it has tons of flavor and adds a good touch to what you're gonna make. next go ahead and throw it on the grille and watch it, and flip it a couple times to even out the way the breast cooks. now once its done grilling, go and heat up your sandwich maker and have it ready. place two slices of bread of your choosing, i used cuban bread, on the iron and then place your choice of cheese on them, i used swiss. now let the cheese melt to where you like it, then place your chopped up or full breast on the melted cheese. make sure to make sure every part of the cheese is covered because you're gonna close the iron to make sure the inside is also warm. now let that sit there for a few minuets, then close the sandwich and close the iron just to give it a tight warm feeling. once thats done, take it out and enjoy your cuban chicken sandwich!

somethin' simple

this week is gonna be pretty simple. because most of my meals on here have been time consuming and require a lot of different ingredients. so this week I'm just gonna give you guys my favorite style of spaghetti.

ingredients:
spaghetti
ground beef
tomato sauce
olive oil/ butter
salt

to begin this simple meal, you're gonna first boil some water with butter, or olive oil, your choice really. then once the water comes to a boil, put in the noodles. let them boil until they come to the texture of your preference. while the noodles are cooking, mix the ground beef and the tomato sauce in a pan on low heat. once the noodles are done softening, strain the water and place the noodles on low heat. (this part is optional, but i choose to add some salt to the bare noodles.) then once thats done, place the mixed sauce and ground beef into the noodles. personally, i put the sauce over the noodles once they're on my plate, but that is just my preference! you guys can choose what you do once the food is ready to be prepared! enjoy!

Mama Mia! It's a Pizza!

This weeks gonna be a simple easy meal! How about a nice homemade pizza? It's pretty easy, and who doesn't love pizza?

How to make a pizza:
Step 1: Place a pizza stone or an inverted baking sheet on the lowest oven rack and preheat to 500 degrees.
Step 2: Stretch 1 pound dough on a floured pizza peel, large wooden cutting board or parchment paper.
Step 3: Top as desired, then slide the pizza (with the parchment paper, if using) onto the stone or baking sheet. Bake until golden, about 15 minutes.
Pizza Dough
Whisk 3 3/4 cups flour and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt. Make a well and add 1 1/3 cups warm water, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 packet yeast. When foamy, mix in 3 tablespoons olive oil; knead until smooth, 5 minutes. Brush with olive oil, cover in a bowl and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour 30 minutes. Divide into two 1-pound balls. Use 1 pound per recipe unless noted.
